Balochistan Attack: Nine Police Officers Killed in Dam Project Raid

At least nine police officers were killed in an overnight attack on a security post guarding the Mangi Dam construction site in Pakistan's Ziarat district. Among the fatalities were two senior officers, while several others were initially missing in the aftermath of the assault. The attack triggered a fierce gun battle in the mineral-rich province, which borders Afghanistan and Iran and has historically faced significant security challenges from militant groups seeking greater autonomy.
