NIA Raids 20 Locations Across Nine States in Radicalisation Case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) executed coordinated raids across 20 locations spanning nine states and one Union Territory on Wednesday. The investigation centers on alleged attempts by specific groups to promote the ideologies of ISIS and Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS). Investigators aim to uncover how these extremist elements utilize online platforms to propagate material and recruit vulnerable individuals within the country. Authorities suspect these activities are intended to destabilize regional security and foster long-term radicalization within local pockets.

The NIA continues to map the digital footprints recovered from the confiscated devices to track the source of the radical content.
