The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is advancing plans to streamline travel on the Delhi-Jaipur corridor, aiming for a more seamless and barrier-free commuting experience. The central cabinet has approved key projects, including an 8-km six-lane tunnel for the Dwarka road-tunnel project in Delhi and a major four-lane highway in Uttar Pradesh connecting Kanpur and Kabrai. A highlight of the government's infrastructure agenda is the soon-to-be-opened Delhi-Mumbai Expressway tunnel passing through the Mukundra Hills tiger habitat in Rajasthan.
