New Delhi Hosts National Workshop To Integrate AI Into Rural Development Frameworks

The Department of Rural Development is hosting a high-level National Workshop at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, to bridge the gap between advanced artificial intelligence and rural developmental needs. The event brings together key stakeholders, including NITI Aayog and the IndiaAI Mission, to evaluate how emerging technologies can be scaled to improve governance and service delivery across India's vast rural landscape.

Discussions are centered on four critical pillars: AI-driven rural governance, citizen-centric service delivery, climate resilience for infrastructure, and financial empowerment through skilling. By assessing the current data ecosystem and institutional readiness, the workshop aims to create a blueprint for nationwide adoption, ensuring that technological progress does not bypass the country's agrarian and rural heartlands.
