Magic: The Gathering Marvel Set Launches June 26 with New Jumpstart Cards

Wizards of the Coast is launching a new crossover set for Magic: The Gathering featuring Marvel Super Heroes on June 26, 2026. This set includes a new edition of Jumpstart, offering 51 unique theme packs that can be combined to create instant decks. The release introduces over 180 brand-new cards and reintroduces more than 60 existing cards with Marvel-themed art, playable in formats like Commander.

The Jumpstart format allows players to shuffle two themed packs together for an immediate 40-card deck, making it accessible for new and returning players. The Marvel Super Heroes Jumpstart set features a wide array of themes, including those inspired by the Fantastic Four, Agents of Shield, and Young Avengers, with varying rarity levels. Some themes, like the Fantastic Four, are designated Mythic rarity, while others, such as the Young Avengers, are Common.

All newly introduced cards carry the MSC set code, meaning they are not legal in Magic's Standard format but are permitted in Eternal formats such as Commander. The set also includes reprints of classic cards with new Marvel-inspired art, such as Thor channeling Lightning Bolt. Tabletop prerelease events begin June 19, with the digital release on MTG Arena on June 23, and the full paper release on June 26, 2026.
