Meta Unveils AI Smart Glasses Featuring Enhanced Battery Life and Muse Spark AI

Meta has introduced its latest generation of smart glasses, developed in partnership with EssilorLuxottica, featuring significant upgrades in AI integration and hardware performance. Announced on June 23, 2026, the glasses start at $299 (approximately Rs 28,359) and are equipped with an advanced battery system offering over eight hours of continuous use on a single charge, plus an additional 40 hours provided by the charging case.

The new lineup includes three frame styles—Meta Adventurer, Meta Fury, and the Kylie Jenner-inspired slim oval frame—offering users 26 different style combinations. The devices are powered by Muse Spark, a new AI model developed by Meta Superintelligence Labs, designed to provide more accurate situational awareness and voice-driven assistant capabilities. The glasses also feature improved microphones to reduce ambient wind noise, hands-free photography, and prescription lens compatibility via the new Rx Lens Swap program.

Meta plans to roll out pedestrian navigation and expanded live translation support for 14 languages, including Hindi, by the end of the year. By offering deep integration with daily routines, voice interaction, and enhanced battery life, Meta is aggressively positioning its product against competitors like Google and Snap. These features are designed to transition the hardware from a novelty gadget to an essential, daily-use productivity tool for the consumer market.
