Hero MotoCorp Launches Passion+ Disc Variant At Rs 84,128 With Digital Connectivity

Hero MotoCorp has expanded its premium 100cc commuter motorcycle portfolio with the launch of the new Passion+ Disc variant. Priced at Rs 84,128 (ex-showroom, Delhi), this model introduces a front disc brake system to the Passion+ lineup, positioning it as a more feature-rich offering within Hero's commuter segment. The bike is now the most expensive option among the company's 100cc offerings, including the Splendor+ and HF series.

The Passion+ Disc is powered by a 97.2cc air-cooled 'sloper' engine that generates 8hp and 8.05Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed gearbox. A key upgrade in this variant is the fully digital, Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, which provides call and SMS alerts, a real-time mileage indicator (RTMI), and service reminders. Additional features include Hero’s i3S start/stop technology for improved efficiency—rated at 71 km/l—and a side-stand cut-off safety sensor.

Available in four dual-tone color options with updated graphics, the bike aims to attract young and first-time motorcycle buyers seeking added safety and technology in a commuter package. Ashutosh Varma, Chief Business Officer for the India Business Unit, stated that the launch strengthens the Passion brand's legacy. Hero MotoCorp remains a dominant force in the Indian 100cc segment, and this launch signifies a move to integrate premium features like disc brakes and digital dashboards into more accessible motorcycles.
