Delhi YouTuber Arrested For Stalking And Harassing Women In Videos

Delhi Police have arrested a 32-year-old content creator, Gurman Singh, for allegedly stalking and harassing women and minor girls in the city. The accused, a resident of Subhash Nagar, operated a YouTube channel and Facebook page under the name Road Safety Waala, which garnered over 72,000 subscribers and millions of views. Police action followed multiple complaints regarding videos in which Singh would intentionally hit vehicles driven by women, initiate unwanted interactions, and capture their reactions without consent to boost his online engagement.

The case originated after a father reported that unknown riders had struck his minor daughter's scooter, followed them, and used abusive language before uploading the footage online. Following this complaint, cyber police conducted a digital analysis of the channel, confirming that the content specifically targeted women riders. Deputy commissioner of police (west) Hareshwar Swami stated that the accused confessed to creating these videos to generate viral engagement and earn monetization revenue, using lewd remarks and deliberate provocations to keep viewers interested.

Police have seized a mobile phone containing significant digital evidence, including screenshots and unreleased video clips. A case has been registered against the accused under the POCSO Act, reflecting the severity of the targeted harassment against minors. Authorities are now taking necessary steps to deactivate all associated social media accounts to prevent further distribution of the content and have indicated that the ongoing investigation will ensure all relevant electronic evidence is processed.
