Election Commission Conducts Voter List Revision in Delhi

This process, currently underway through 29 July, involves Booth Level Officers (BLOs) conducting house-to-house verifications to update the city's voter registry. Officials are cross-referencing current residency data against the established 2002 electoral roll to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the list for upcoming civic and national processes.

This intensive exercise addresses discrepancies in voter registration that have accumulated over time. The Election Commission's decision to utilize the 2002 records serves as a baseline to identify outdated entries or missed registrations, particularly in rapidly urbanizing districts. Residents are encouraged to check their registration status through official portals and engage with BLOs during the ongoing verification phase to avoid potential issues during future election cycles.
