CUET-UG 2026 Results Released: Thousands Achieve Top Percentile Scores

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026, revealing that over 3,200 students successfully secured a 100 percentile score in at least one subject. Among the high achievers is Devina Gahlot, daughter of a former Delhi Minister, who emerged as a national topper with a 100th percentile score in four out of five subjects, achieving an aggregate normalized NTA score of 1,232.19 out of 1,250. These results are now available for download via the official NTA portal and serve as the baseline for undergraduate admissions across 244 central and state universities for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The 2026 edition saw widespread participation, with 1.16 million candidates appearing—an 8.6% increase compared to the previous year—out of a total registration pool of 1.57 million. Despite the high turnout, the process was marked by a reported 25% absenteeism rate and logistical hurdles, including a notable two-hour delay during the May 30 examination shift. Top performances were distributed across a diverse geographical range, including high-scoring students in Rajasthan, Bihar, Delhi, and West Bengal, highlighting the exam's role in standardizing entry into elite institutions like St. Stephen’s College.
