Bengaluru Students Beat Landlord to Death in Dispute Over Water Usage

A landlord in the Kasturinagar area of Bengaluru has died after being severely assaulted by two of his student tenants. The incident, which occurred following a heated argument, reportedly began when the landlord objected to the students washing their legs using tap water inside the premises. The disagreement quickly escalated into a violent altercation, during which the students attacked the victim with a cricket bat, leading to fatal injuries.

Local police have confirmed the arrests of the two students involved in the attack. Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim had frequently raised concerns regarding the misuse of water at the PG facility, a recurring point of contention between the owner and his tenants. The severity of the assault with the cricket bat led to the immediate death of the victim, sparking outrage among residents in the area who have called for swift legal action against the accused.
