Apollo Cancer Centres Deploys New Multi-Cancer Blood Test

Apollo Cancer Centres has partnered with Zydus Lifesciences to launch Guardant Health's 'Shield' Multi-Cancer Detection (MCD) test in India. This advanced blood-based screening solution is designed to identify markers for 10 common types of cancer from a single sample. As the first institution in India to offer this technology, Apollo aims to significantly improve early detection rates, which remains a critical challenge in clinical oncology within the country.

The collaboration leverages Zydus Lifesciences’ extensive distribution network to expand access to this high-precision diagnostic tool.
